Finalidade da operação
The project’s main objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of prehabilitation on the reduction of occurrence of non-iatrogenic postoperative pulmonary complications (PPC) and length of hospital stay (LOS) in patients selected for lung resections due to lung cancer. Additionally, this project aims to compare four different prehabilitation programs on PPC occurrence and LOS until 30 days after hospital discharge. Additionally, this project aims to compare four different prehabilitation programs on PPC occurrence and LOS until 30 days after hospital discharge. To compare the economic cost-effectiveness of each prehabilitation modality; 4. To provide information on the inclusion of other assessment tools to the current preoperative algorithm assessment and, thus, deliver a tailored prehabilitation at the lowest cost.
