Os diversos IMUs vão permitir reconstruir o corpo humano, e daí reconhecer gestos. O sistema da Technaid apresenta um conjunto de sensores IMU integrados numa única unidade de processamento wireless. O número de sensores IMU pode ser aumentado, bastando para isso conectar outros IMUs. Desta forma, o sistema é modular. O sistema da technaid tem processamento integrado, permitindo receber dados de orientação dos diferentes elementos com elevada precisão e sem drift (Erro maximo de 1 degree).
