Finalidade da operação
The main objective of the INNOVALG project is to develop new sustainable microalgae products through the establishment of a heterotrophic cultivation process. To achieve this, the following strategic objectives will be developed: (O1) Recycle agro-industrial by-products to create an affordable glucose source for heterotrophic microalgae cultivation (circular economy); (O2) Develop two strains and heterotrophic cultivation approaches to produce biomass containing high levels of target biocompounds (proteins and astaxanthin) using alternative growth media; (O3) Develop an AI-featured predictive model to monitor better fermentation processes; (O4) Scale up production from TRL 3 to TRL 7 for two strains; (O5) Integrate all technologies to develop an economic and ecological sustainable…
