Finalidade da operação

The action/operation targeted by this application is the requalification of the Bunheiro Riverfront, in an area that extends along Avenida D. Júlio Tavares Rebimbas, between Rua do Lavadouro, to the north, and Rua do Caminho da Igreja, to the south. The operation has the specific objective of protecting nature and biodiversity, qualifying an interface space between the natural system and the urban system and, thus, contributing to the dual challenge of (i) protecting and restoring biodiversity, fundamental to the balance of the Ria de Aveiro ecosystem and (ii) resilience of the territory and consequently of the local community.
